MISSION BRIEFING

It's the great migration to Mars, and your family drew the long straw: one rover, one route, and 4,500 kilometers of red wasteland between you and the settlement at Olympus Mons.

Mars Trail is an Oregon Trail-style survival game played through a retro mission terminal. Manage food, water, oxygen, and morale. Weather dust storms, breakdowns, and the occasional miracle. Make the calls no mission manual covers — and live (or not) with what happens.

HOW IT PLAYS

- Pick a profession — engineer, geologist, or botanist. Each changes the odds, and the harder ones multiply your score.
- Name your crew, or keep the Chens. (The Chens are lovely.)
- Every sol brings decisions: push the rover or rest the crew, tighten rations, gamble on a risky extraction, stop at a waystation to trade.
- Random events with real consequences — no two runs are the same, and the same seed replays the same trail. Race a friend.
- Win and your expedition gets rated S to D. Lose and Mars keeps the receipt.
- Share your expedition log at the end either way.

GOOD TO KNOW

- A full run takes 15-30 minutes
- Built phone-first - plays great one-handed
- Free; pay what you want if it made you feel something

The trail is unfair. So is Mars.
